Creative Commons

As my animation would involve a lot of work that is under creative commons licensing, therefore some research on how to reference appositely for different mediums is needed. After looking through the official creative commons website
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.0/
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
These are the two main licensing that i found that sound and photos uses. However the site did not state how to appropriately reference each source and especially in a video or film.

This site helps a lot in organizing the references
as this site automatically search all creative commons images under flickr and generates the reference by itself. it is very useful.

After doing some research i found that many classical music that is far from this era has https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/1.0/ as there license meaning its free to be used even commercially. Moreover Classical music often tells story through symphonys, and the sounds matches the theme of animals, nature and world music. Furthermore many classical music builds a magical and dreamy like mise en scene, its  is often used in many different disney films, such as fantasia (1940), Make Mine Music (1946)

This is a perfect example utilising classical music as a language and medium, leaves space for audience to interrupt, and classical music has no lyrics often are drives with enormous emotion changes through out the music. This kind of music is universal and can easily create mood and connection towards the audience. Therefore in terms of choosing the music that would guide through my animation i would research in the genre of classical music.
